Source standard
Resolution is based on public reporting, official announcements, primary source documents or other clear public records. Resolution sources are stored on the game page when available.

A game resolves according to whether the condition in the title was met on or before the stated cutoff. Events outside that window should not count toward the final outcome.

Closed versus resolved
Games may close before final resolution. Closing stops new participation. Resolution is the separate step where the final outcome is set and, for market games, settlement can occur.
